Newcastle and the region:

Newcastle has once again been voted the UK’s best city for students
Newcastle upon Tyne is regularly named as the UK’s Best University City by MSN Travel Guide. It’s partly due to the city’s compactness, which makes it large enough to be vibrant and exciting while small enough to feel like home. It’s also due to the sheer number of students: one in every six people in the city is a student.
Newcastle is packed with bars, restaurants, pubs and clubs, so it’s easy to see why the city is in the Which? University Guide 2013’s top 10 for its diverse nightlife. Newcastle also features in the worldwide top ten of the TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice Awards.

Courses:

We constantly search for new ways to challenge, innovate and improve and have a thriving research community. The result is a growing reputation for academic excellence and increasing success in the national league tables, staff and student awards, professional accreditations and research funding bids.

The University offers more tha 500 courses. You’ll be able to search for your ideal programme. Ccontact SforStudy and we’ll be able to guide you.

Accommodation:

At Northumbria, we make things easier by offering a variety of University accommodation that suits all tastes and budgets.
We have over 5,000 bedrooms that are close to, or have convenient transport to, our campuses in Newcastle upon Tyne. So you can be within easy reach of the University’s facilities and the city’s bustling culture and nightlife.
Most residences provide self-catering accommodation but, if you don’t want to worry about cooking, there is also a catered option.
We understand that it’s a big step to go to a new city for your time at university. But with so much student accommodation available, it’s straightforward to move in and start meeting other students and developing new friendships.
You’ll be able to find a wide range of accommodation options. During the application process, Sforstudy staff will assist you to find the best possible option. You can as well decide to book a short stay accommodation while you’ll be able to look for a shared accommodation.

Student Life:

There are a huge range of clubs and societies that you can join. With all our thousands of students, there are sure to be people who share your enthusiasms and want to try new activities.

If you enjoy any sport at any level, we’re the place to be. Join ‘Team Northumbria’ or learn a new sport and make use of fantastic facilities that include our £30 million flagship ‘Sport Central’.

You can also add a different dimension to student life by taking advantage of our partnerships across the world – perhaps registering for a summer programme in another country or completing part of your studies abroad.
