Universidad Nacional de Córdoba -

Established in 1573, the city of Córdoba is the capital of the province by the same name. It is the second most-populated city in the country after Buenos Aires, which makes it a cultural, economic, educational, financial and entertainment hub strategically located in the center of the country

Student life. Cordoba is a renowned cultural centre in the region, welcoming students from all over the country and the world. This lively city concentrates a large student population, especially in the quarter of Nueva Córdoba (by UNC campus). Its university cultural life offers shows, art exhibits, concerts, film projections and plays every day and practically at all times, making its thriving student life unique in the country.

A historical city. The city of Córdoba has been the site of historical events of national, regional and world relevance. It was the home of the University Reform of 1918, a major industrial hub since the 1930s and the Cordobazo liberationist revolt in 1969. These iconic moments are evidence of the character and national weight which make its people proud.

World heritage. In the year 2000, UNESCO established the Jesuitical Block (historical downtown) a World Heritage site.

400 Years of history
Established in 1613, Universidad Nacional de Córdoba is one of the oldest and most prestigious universities in Latin America. The colonial university buildings located downtown were declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2000.

UNC has played a vital role both in our national and regional history. Its faculties cover all areas of knowledge, and it has over one hundred research centers, 25 libraries, 17 museums and two astronomy observatories: all living proof of the thriving force of a university conceived as a combination of tradition, innovation and excellence.

A world-class university
UNC offers international students the opportunity to take undergraduate degree courses for one or two semesters. Most degree programs require Spanish upper-intermediate (B2) proficiency certified by renowned international examinations. Every semester, international students get on-site orientation and later receive assistance and guidance from Academic Coordinators and UNC students who take part in our university’s Buddy Program.

Undergraduate admission

Universidad Nacional de Córdoba (UNC) offers undergraduate courses in most areas of knowledge, on a non-fee-paying basis and with programs ranging around five years on average.

There are two international student standings: within quota and beyond quota. While the former is applied at the Argentine embassy or consulate in the student’s own country, the latter is requested at our university. Each international student standing has its own requisites and reach.

Graduate admission

Additionally, Universidad Nacional de Córdoba offers graduate diplomas and graduate programs at M.A. and PhD diverse fields of knowledge with the purpose of qualifying professionals for teaching, research and scientific and technological development.
