Melbourne is the capital of Victoria and one of the largest cities in Australia. Exciting and cosmopolitan, Melbourne has a vibrant, modern cultural life that caters to all ages and interests, and is the food, fashion, arts and sporting capital of Australia. With more universities than any other Australian city, it is also a great student destination with plenty of entertainment and work opportunities. The world-famous Great Ocean Road, Phillip Island, and the Grampians National Park, are just a few examples of wonderful day trip destinations from Melbourne.

I spent 10 weeks studying an English course at Lyceum English Language Australia and for me it has been a great experience. The classes were amazing; teachers are funny and very friendly. I could improve my spoken English a lot as we did a lot of oral exercises where we could learn new vocabulary, Australian expressions and we got to know each other very well. Besides, there were different excursions every month and extra-curricular activities to discover the city from an educational and Australian point of view.

I’m glad to have chosen this school and I don’t regret it. It’s was a pleasure. The
atmosphere is very good, people are friendly and kind. When I arrived, I didn’t speak
English, after twelve weeks I speak, understand and don’t need anyone to talk for me
and talk to a beautiful girl. I think it’s not expensive for the quality and you have very
good teachers. For me, it was definitely not a waste of time.
