Australia

Australia is a great country where you’ll find quality education and a great life style. As a student, you’ll be able to work and therefore cover some of your living expenses. Australian institutions have gained worldwide recognition for their programmes and for the services offered to International students. You’ll be able to study in large cities (Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Brisbane & Adelaide) or in regional Australia such as the Great Barrier Reef, the Gold Coast and many more regions.
Wherever you go you’ll admire some unique landscapes and see a fantastic wildlife. You may want to study few weeks of English or study a Bachelor/Master’s Degree while others will choose a shorter professional course. If you are eligible to the working Holiday Visa, then you could also spend a year in Australia traveling, working and improving your English. Australia is a land where all is possible!

Special Perth

Perth, Australia: Your Choice in Education

Perth, the capital of Western Australia, offers world-class education, excellent infrastructure and natural beauty.

A cosmopolitan city of 1.8 million people, every year more and more students are discovering why Perth is the ideal place to study. Its appeal is based on the excellence, diversity and affordability of education, with opportunities for quality learning and research that range from specialized schools and vocational training, to undergraduate and postgraduate degrees.

Perth is home to five universities and a wide variety of language and vocational institutions. They provide quality assured education and comprehensive training, with flexible study pathways and state-of-the-art facilities.

The Western Australian economy has created a strong demand for skilled staff, which means plenty of opportunity for part-time work. As a full time student with a student visa, you will be able to work part-time for up to 40 hours per fortnight when the course is in session and unlimited hours during the holiday break.
Perth is a city that continues to attract some of the world’s leading minds, artists and entrepreneurs and its robust, modern education system underpins its steady growth in regional importance.

New Immigration rules for Students going to Australia

The Australian Immigration Department has introduced some new rules which will assist students from countries Level 3 and Level 4. If your passport is from such countries and you wish to apply for a course in Australia, please contact our counselors at Sforstudy.

How do the streamlined visa processing arrangements work ?

Students with a CoE for an eligible course in a participating university in Australia will generally have reduced evidentiary requirements when applying for a student visa, regardless of their country of origin, as they would be assessed as though they were a lower migration risk (similar to the current Assessment Level 1). The students still have to meet requirements in regard to English-language proficiency and financial capacity and will have to satisfy the genuine temporary entrant requirement, as do Assessment Level 1 applicants.

However, they will not have the same documentary burdens that currently exist under the higher assessment levels. In addition, all applicants will still be subject to basic requirements such as having health insurance and not being a security or health risk.

Countries are listed by the Australian Immigration and you’ll find the assessment level for each country by clicking on http://www.immi.gov.au/students/student-visa-assessment-levels.htm

Most Australian Universities have agreed to take part in this new scheme. Be aware that some programs do not qualify for the streamlined visa processing arrangements.
