Colorado State University (CSU), founded in 1870, is located in the friendly college town of Fort Collins at the base of the Rocky Mountain foothills, just a one-hour drive from the major metropolitan city of Denver. With a population of about 140,000, Fort Collins is known for its low crime rate, clean air and water, abundant recreational opportunities, reasonable cost of living, and more than 300 days of sunshine per year. CSU has more than 26,500 students and is a Carnegie Tier I Research Institution with annual research expenditures topping $350 million. Career Services: Career Center resources include individual career counseling, interests/skills/personality assessments, web-based career resources, resumé and cover letter assistance, career fairs, workshops, recruiting events, on-campus career interviews, and an online job and internship listing service.

Student Leadership, Involvement and Community Engagement (SLiCE): With a variety of leadership and community engagement programs, SLiCE brings together student organizations, student leaders, and student volunteers under one banner. Being involved in SLiCE programs allows students to enrich their academic and social experience at CSU.

Campus Activities: Campus Activities is your home for entertainment on campus. Through diversity, entertainment, and visual arts programming, you can work with your fellow students to bring incredible events and programs to campus. However you want to get involved we can help you make that happen.

Health Network: The CSU Health Network provides health care right on campus. Services in the CSU Health Network are fully accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care and American Psychological Association. The CSU Health Network provides a full range of medical, mental health, and health education and prevention care to optimize the health of students and
the campus community.

Student Recreation Center: All students have access to the Student Rec Center. “The Rec” offers group fitness classes, two floors of weight and cardio equipment, indoor cycling, yoga, massage therapy, personal training, pool facility with rock wall, lap lanes, current channel, spa, sauna, steam room, volleyball area, indoor running track, four basketball courts, exercise studios, a smoothie bar, and more.

Education: CSU is 1 of 40 public universities with both Tier 1 Research and Community Engagement designations and in the top 100 universities in the Americas and top 200 worldwide. (Shanghai Jiao Tong University) Our academic programs are excellent with a variety of experiential learning opportunities for our students.

Programs: CSU has Academic English programs, 65 undergraduate majors with 250 program options, master degrees, doctoral degrees and professional degree programs.

Life on Campus: CSU offers students a wide variety of support services to help students succeed. The Office of International Student and Scholar Services, the Council of International Student Affairs, and the Fort Collins International Center offer a variety of programs to specifically meet the needs of international students. Through these programs, students are supported as they adapt to life in the US, become active in student life, graduate from CSU, and move on to the professional world.
